Refuse Driver - Class 2

Location: Oldham, OL9 Pay: £14.19 per hour Hours: 7am – 5pm – Monday – Friday (including bank holidays if required) We are looking for Refuse Waste Drivers to work in and around Oldham. Key Responsibilities: - Vehicle checking and completing paperwork prior to starting each morning. - Collecting rubbish and recycling from residential homes. - Driving around the local Borough in a safe and effective manner. - Taking full lorries to waste management sites and empty load. - Responsible for crew. - Some loading may be required to help team. Requirements essential: - Valid UK DL with Class 2 entitlement - Valid CPC - Valid Digi - No more than 6 points on DL - Good knowledge of the local area - Experience of driving refuse and recycling vehicles is beneficial – Training will be provided - The ability to work well with others - The ability to operate and control equipment - To be thorough and pay attention to detail - The ability to organise your time and workload - Excellent customer service skills when dealing with the general public - The ability to work well under pressure - Knowledge of public safety and security - Working in all weather conditions All our roles are subject to pre-employment checks, including references.
