Bulk Mixer / Production Operative

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Oldham, is looking for a Bulk Mixer / Production Operative to join their team.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, blend and mix raw materials following production instructions.

• Follow detailed mixing procedures and ensure products are prepared correctly.

• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.

• Support the production line when required.

• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.

Person Specification

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

• Physically fit and comfortable lifting and handling heavy materials.

• Able to follow detailed instructions with good attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.

• Willing to learn new skills and processes.

• Previous mixing or manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Hours & Pay

£12.71 per hour

Training Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–6:00pm (40 hours per week).

• Applicants must be able to commit to these training hours.

Once fully trained – rotating weekly shifts:

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm.

• Week 2: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm.
